Jotstamp is a notes app: you type lines and it saves them with the time. This page says what it stores, where, and how to delete it. The short version: without an account nothing leaves your phone, there are no ads and no tracking, and nothing is sold.

Without an account

Your logs, entries, tags and pictures are stored only on your device. Jotstamp makes no network requests for them. Android's own device backup does not include your account session or device identifier.

With an account

Signing in is optional. When you do, Jotstamp stores on its servers:

• Your email address, to sign you in with a one-time code.
• Your name, if you set one; people in spaces you share can see it.
• The text of your logs: log and folder names, entries, their times and tags, and space names, so they can be restored on a new phone or synced.
• Pictures, only with Jotstamp Pro or in a shared space: a resized copy (at most 2048 pixels) and a thumbnail.
• A random device identifier, so a free account backs up from one device.
• Your plan: whether you have Pro, and until when.

Everything you put in a shared space is visible to its members. Your data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage), and sign-in emails are sent through Resend. They process it only to provide the service. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest; it is not end-to-end encrypted.

Ask (AI questions and summaries)

Ask is an optional Pro feature. When you ask a question about a log, or ask for a summary, that log's entries (text, times, tags and, in shared spaces, who wrote them) are sent from our server to an AI model provider to write the answer. Nothing is sent until you use Ask, and the app asks you first. The provider processes the entries only to answer, under terms that don't allow training on them. We keep a count of questions per month, not the questions or answers. You can turn Ask off in Settings.

What Jotstamp doesn't do

• No advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, in the app or on this site.
• No selling or sharing of your data with anyone beyond the providers above, and the AI provider when you use Ask.

Permissions

The only permission Jotstamp asks for is network access, used for sign-in and sync. Pictures are picked with Android's photo picker, which gives the app just the pictures you choose.

Export and deletion

Export everything from the app at any time (Settings → Export) as a zip of JSON, plain text and pictures. To delete your account and everything stored with it, use jotstamp.com/account or Settings → Account in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent; logs on your phone stay on your phone. Server backups roll over within 30 days.

Children

Jotstamp isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their data.
